Lazeez

In my role as the designer for Lazeez, a vibrant Lebanese street food kiosk in the UK, I crafted a compelling visual identity that seamlessly blends Middle Eastern heritage with a contemporary appeal to the UK market. The owner sought a bright and colorful brand that would resonate with a diverse audience, including those unfamiliar with Lebanese culture and cuisine.

To bridge this cultural connection, I incorporated both Latin and Arabic equivalents for the “z” and “ee” in the logo, making it accessible and inviting for all customers. This design choice served as the foundation for the overall branding strategy.

Building on this, I developed a natural pattern inspired by contemporary Lebanese mosaics, which became a key element of the packaging design. This intricate yet modern pattern not only highlights the richness of Lebanese culture but also adds a unique flair to the brand’s visual identity.

Through thoughtful design and cultural sensitivity, the branding for Lazeez successfully captures the essence of Lebanese street food while appealing to a broad audience, inviting them to explore and enjoy the flavors of the Middle East.
